Description
A face shield is used for protection against saliva, blood, and vomit when giving mouth-
to-mouth resuscitation. The face shield consists of a latex-free plastic cloth with a water
repellent two-way filter, which shields both one giving rescue breaths and the one
receiving them.
Having a face shield makes it easier to make the decision to give a stranger mouth-to-
mouth resuscitation. Therefore, it is always wise to carry a face shild with you at all times.
