Description
Xylocain ointment (Lidocaine) numbs tissue on a specific area. The ointment contains local anesthetics that are absorbed by the skin. It may be used on wounds or burns to relieve pain. For example, on children it can be used prior to cleaning wounds, making the cleaning process less painful. The ointment also helps to relieve pain caused
by insect bites. Xylocain may be used on children from the age 1.5 years and up. One tube contains 10 grams of Xylocaine.
