Description
Using area-imaging technology and a grayscale sensor with a 838 x 640 resolution,
the black Xenon 1900 High Density Area-Imaging Scanner from Honeywell/Sperian will provide reliable scanning for
1D, 2D, PDF, Postal, and OCR symbologies. With a field of view of 41.4° horizontally and 32.2° vertically it has a wide viewing area for
reading and it uses Adaptus Imaging Technology 6.0 to deliver fast bar code scanning and digital image capture. Also, this version comes with a 9.8′ USB cable for connection to a computer.
For portability and efficiency, Xenon 1900 works in a variety of areas and has a construction to match. To start,
it works in light levels from 0 to 9,290 fc and is IP41-rated for sealing. Also,
it uses a solid state design and solid construction to withstand multiple 6′ drops to concrete.
Adding to the versatility are USB, keyboard wedge, RS232 and RS485 connectivity options as well as the ability to work with Remote MasterMind Scanner Management software.
The TotalFreedom 2.0 development platform eliminates the need for host system modifications by enabling the loading and linking of multiple applications on the scanner.
